Directions for Vehicles with Over-Dimensional Loads
If you are planning to bring over-dimensional equipment to the Nebraska Ag Expo, you will be required to purchase an over-dimensional permit from the city of Lincoln to drive inside city limits. However, you can avoid having to purchase a permit if you use one of the alternate truck routes listed below and remain outside of city limits.
From the West and East: Travel on I-80 to Exit 409. Take Highway 6/Cornhusker Highway to the northeast to Waverly. Turn right on to North 148th Street and travel south to Havelock Road. Turn right at Havelock and go west to the Sandhills Global Event Center , located at the intersection of North 84th Street and Havelock Road.
From the North: From Highway 77, turn left and go east on Waverly Road. Then turn right at North 148th and go south to Havelock Road (1 mile south of Prairie Home). Turn right and go west to the Sandhills Global Event Center , located at the intersection of North 84th Street and Havelock Road.
From the South: From the intersection of Highway 2 and 43, travel west 1 mile to South 148th and go north across Highway 134/“O” Street. Turn left at Havelock Road and go west to the Sandhills Global Event Center , located at the intersection of North 84th Street and Havelock Road.
