The weather was not kind to Iowa and Nebraska farmers over the past year when mostly La Niña conditions prevailed. National Weather Service Omaha Meteorologist Taylor Nicolaisen will discuss the latest long range outlook and El Niño’s possible influence on moisture and temperatures in the mid-Missouri River Valley this winter.

Taylor Nicolaisen graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Meteorology. After 18 years of TV meteorology in Rapid City, SD, he is now a climate focal point for the National Weather Service in Omaha, NE.
